“A whole in
one”
Emerging in a world of seemingly endless
possibilities where change is
the only permanent thing established, a man’s instinct to survive
amidst challenges receives admiration from people around him despite
of obstacles encountered along the way.
“A putt in the green is a better alternative to avoid stress and
endure in the battlefield.” Thus, stressed Lt. Col. Federico
“Feddie” A. Espiritu, the Executive Vice-President and concurrent
Officer-In-Charge of QUEDANCOR after a recent interview granted by
the busy officer.
A brief look back on his career, after obtaining a degree of
Bachelor of Arts at the National Teacher’s College and Master in
Business Administration at the Philippine Christian University, he
considered his pen the most important tool towards achieving his
ambitions and fulfilling his dreams. In his 33 years of government
service, 18 years of which were spent in QUEDANCOR, most of the
tasks he handled were multifaceted. He was chief of
then Publications and Promotions Division (PPD) now known as Public
Information Office (PIO). Much earlier, he has also been a media consultant of
then Congressman Raul S. Roco way back early 90’s. During his time
with QUEDANCOR as concurrent Vice President for Client Service and
Vice President for Administration and later as Vice President for
Wholesale Guarantee, his hard work and perseverance earned him the
admiration of management and respect of his peers, catapulting him
high up the corporate ladder to his current stint as Executive Vice
President and Officer-In-Charge of the Corporation.
Just recently, he took up and finished his Masters in National
Security Administration at the National Defense College of the
Philippines with flying colors
being Bronze Medalist in academic excellence. He likewise bagged
Silver Medal for Best Thesis.
As commissioned officer, he joined the Philippine Navy and
consequently the Philippine Marine Corps.
Being a PR man, a manager, a military officer of the Armed Forces of
the Philippines, a hard worker and a
sportsman as he dabbles in a round of golf during his free time, this
gentleman is really a whole in one.
