QUEDANCOR JOINS BARANGAY KALAYAAN TRADE SHOWCASE AT RIZAL PARK

 

In celebration of the 109th Anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence, the national government has set up the "Barangay Kalayaan sa Rizal Park", a trade showcase which features various trade, agriculture products, folk and cultural presentations, as well as government-sponsored programs initiated by different local and national agencies. Among the featured programs was the Microfinance Consortium spearheaded by the People’s Credit and Finance Corporation (PCFC), Land bank of the Philippines (LBP) and the Quedan and Rural Credit Guarantee Corporation (QUEDANCOR), who are among the lead agencies and financial institutions in promoting the system of microfinance to stimulate small and medium business endeavors throughout the country. Photo shows Hon.Vice-President Noli De Castro formally opening the "Barangay Kalayaan" showcase through the traditional weaving of anahaw leaves while a QUEDANCOR employee assist prospective clients who are interested in availing of the Corporation’s Microfinance programs.

 

 


 

 

 

 

QUEDANCOR JOINS SERBISYO MUNA CARAVAN
AT LTFRB’s 20TH ANNIVERSARY

 

 

The Quedan and Rural Credit Guarantee Corporation (QUEDANCOR) along with various government agencies and the private sector joins the Serbisyo Muna Caravan and simultaneously gracing LTFRB’s 20th Anniversary at the Central Terminal, EDSA Quezon City. QUEDANCOR’s participation in the said event involves the promotion of its various livelihood and lending programs for the country’s rural & urban poor. The Corporation has been mandated by law to provide credit access to the marginalized sector of the country. LTFRB Chairman Thompson C. Lantion (extreme left, right photo) poses with QUEDANCOR employees during his booth exhibit tour. The provision of free medicines, medical & dental services, free haircut, cooking demonstration, livelihood workshops, and orientation on micro finance are among the services and activities provided by the Serbisyo Muna Caravan.
